Friday night, Blytheville's Greg McKillion suffered a blow to the head after grabbing a one-handed catch in double coverage on a 46-yard pass from Langston Jenkins late in the fourth quarter. Money for parks is coming...hopefully

As city officials begin 2012 budget talks, Blytheville's Parks and Recreation Department may have its own funding source next year. The 1/4-cent parks and recreation bond is slated to be paid off in December and that money, estimated anywhere from $45,000-60,000 a month, is allocated by voters specifically for maintaining the parks system. Election Commission to meet Monday to vote on new JP districting lines

Members of the Mississippi County Election Commission will meet Monday at 1 p.m. in the Osceola courthouse to vote on the third draft of the new district lines for JPs in Mississippi County.
