Blytheville police are investigating the theft of several thousand dollars of items from a vehicle, according to reports. Wednesday at 1:40 p.m., Glendil Burress of the 1000 block of Highland, reported to police that his vehicle was broken into while parked in his front yard sometime Tuesday night, and several pieces of stereo equipment and a gun were taken.
