Flora Berniece Russell - Leachville

Flora Berniece Russell, 74, of Leachville died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2004, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born at Boydsville, she was the daughter of the late Ezra and Edna Morrow Gordon and had been a Leachville resident since 1963. She was the widow of Clarence Russell and was retired from Brown Shoe Company. She was a member of the former Liberty Hill Methodist Church near Rector and had attended the First United Methodist Church in Leachville.

She is survived by a sister, Mary Gordon of Piggott, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Rev. Donnie Hudson officiating. Burial will be in the Piggott Cemetery.

The family will recieve visitors from 6-8 p.m. this evening (Tuesday) at the funeral home.
