Lena Mae Rogers, 89, of Ash Flat, formerly of Lepanto, died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2008, at Eaglecrest Nursing Home. She was a member of West Ridge Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleo M. Rogers; son, Bobby Joe Rogers; and daughter, Linda Sue Rogers.

Survivors include four sons, Billy Harold Rogers of Lepanto, Jack Rogers of Ash Flat, Don Rogers of Lonoke, and Ronald Rogers of Cherokee Village; eight daughters, Barbara Stovall of Cherokee village, Brenda Carter and Ginger Miles, both of Lepanto, Burnett Whipple and Wanda Hammond, both of Sterling, Mich., Geneva Rolland and Angie Hiser, both of Manila, and Teresa Bryan of Dyess; two brothers, Paul Tyler and Gene Tyler, both of Lepanto; 47 grandchildren; 69 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

A celebration of her life was held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto. Grandsons served as pallbearers. Burial was in Potter Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Murphy Funeral Home.
