Donnie Wayne Kelton - Caraway

Donnie Wayne Kelton, 57, of Caraway, died Sunday, May 21, 2006, in Caraway. He was born and lived his lifetime in Caraway. He was manager at Black Oak Gin and served on the Agriculture Stabilization and Conservation Service where he served as president for two years. He also served on the Arbyrd Cotton Co-op Board and was an Alpha Gamma Rho. He was a member of Buffalo Chapel Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Kim Kelton of the home; a son, Kris Kelton, of Caraway; parents, Hershel and Ruby Riley Kelton of Caraway; brother, Ronnie L. Kelton of Jonesboro; mother-in-law, Charlene Kimbrell of Caraway; and niece Kimberly Kelton Jaco of Austin, Texas.

The funeral was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Caraway First Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Stevens officiating. Burial was in Caraway Cemetery under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers were John Starnes, Dale Poag, Ralph Jones, Donnie Wallace, Buster Campbell, Danny Dunigan, Troy Case and Rob Gibson. Honorary pallbearers were Black Oak Gin board members and employees.

The family requests anyone wishing to leave a lasting memorial consider the Arkansas Baptist Children's Home or Caraway First Baptist Church.
