Peggy Ann McCoy

Peggy Ann McCoy, 81, of Leachville, passed away Monday, April 17, 2017, at the Flo and Phil Hospice House in Jonesboro. Born Dec. 28, 1935, in Bolivar, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Nona Vaughan Taylor. Mrs. McCoy was a member of the First Assembly of God in Leachville and enjoyed reading, gardening and spending time with her family.

She is survived by one son, Wayne McCoy of Leachville; two daughters, Wanda Rippy and husband Larry of Rock Falls, Ill., and Sheila McCoy of Leachville; one sister, Sue Brewer of Crump, Tenn. Mrs. McCoy also leaves six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack McCoy; one daughter, Brenda Pemberton; one granddaughter, Crystal Pemberton; and one brother, William Taylor.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, at the First Assembly of God in Leachville with Bro. Tom Newman and Bro. B.A. Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the Leachville Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, at the church.
