Perry Dixon, 75, of Dell, passed away Monday, April 18, 2016, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born to Noble and Debbie (Ramsey) Dixon in the Little River Community, Perry was a lifelong farmer and a member of First Baptist Church in Blytheville. Mr. Dixon was awarded Mississippi County Farm Family of the Year in 2002. He was a lifelong resident of Dell. Perry was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who has faithfully taken care of his wife and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Perry leaves his wife, Shelda Roach Dixon of the home; children, Mark and Tabitha Dixon of Dell, Perry Dale and Kerrie Dixon of Dell, and Tappi Ann and Larry Haney of Beebe; brother, Harry Dixon of Dell; sister, Ella Mae Poag of Osceola; grandchildren, Perry Wayne and Angie Dixon of Manila, Luke Dixon of Dell, Troy and Jen Misner of Dell, Kendra and Seth Tomboli of Conway, and Gunner Ault of Dell; three great-grandchildren, Paxton, Joie Beth and Millie; and two special nephews that worked with him on the farm, Harry Dixon, Jr. and Devon Dixon.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mitchell King, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Mississippi County Memorial Gardens in Osceola. The family will receive friends from noon until service time at Cobb Funeral Home.
