Patsy Hubble Wasson
Patsy Hubble Wasson, 73, of Monette, passed away Monday, Sept. 7, 2015.
She was born Jan. 8, 1942, in Childress to the late Lacy "Red" and Edith Howerton Hubble. Mrs. Wasson was a retired furniture and appliance store owner. She loved bingo, gospel music and watching her grandchildren. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and friend.
She is survived by her children, Connie Williams of Brookland, Lonnie Smithee of Monette, Pattie Hendon of Brookland and Gary Wasson of St. Louis, Charlotte Smith (Richard) of Prescott, AZ and Teresa Griffith (Darrell) of Excelsior Springs, MO; two sisters, Shirley Gibson and Deannie Holt both of Jonesboro; a brother, Jerry Hubble of Brookland; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd D. Wasson; step-daughter, Janice Limpert; a brother, George Hubble and a sister, Lacy Sharp; two grandchildren, Brandy Smithee and Nathan Smithee.
A celebration of her life was held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, at Gregg Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Watson officiating. Burial followed at Macey Cemetery.
The family received friends from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 9, at Gregg Funeral Home in Monette.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Chris Reed, Joey Ellmer, John Ellmer, Cody Ellmer, Jonathan Bobbitt and Gary Dean Wasson and as honorary pallbearers are Benny Smithee, Lynn Sharp and Jerry Hubble.
