Elznia Woods

Elznia Woods, 90, of Manila, passed from this life Friday Jan. 25, 2013, at Manila Nursing Center. Born in Pocahontas, she was the daughter of the late Rufus and Angela Reedie Tyler and had lived most of her life in Manila. Elznia was the widow of Mr. Jewel Woods and was a longtime member of the Souls Harbor Trinity Church in Manila.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, LaRhonda and Joe Towles of Sherwood; one brother, John Tyler of St. Charles, Mo.; two sisters, Cleatis Bollinger of Manila and Beatrice Meacham of Manila. She also leaves two grandchildren, Colton and Caleb Towles.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28, at the Soul's Harbor Trinity Church in Manila with Rev. Richard White and Rev. Steve Hess officiating. Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Manila.
