Kenneth Wilburn Milligan Jones, 50, of the Milligan Ridge community, near Manila, died early Sunday April 22, 2012, at St Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born and raised in Leachville, he was the son of the late Beatrice Jones Milligan and had lived in Milligan Ridge for the past 15 years. He was a retired section leader for Southworth Products in Manila.
In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by the father who raised him, Ronnie Milligan, and his grandmother, Minnie Jones.
Survivors include his wife, Wayna Ann Toombs Jones of the home; one son, Nathan Henson of Blytheville; two daughters, Summer Martin of Caraway and Amanda Welch of Benton; his father, Eugene Thomas of Oxford, Ark.; his grandmother, Judy Milligan of Batesville; six brothers, Mark Milligan, Jackie Milligan, Ronnie Milligan II, Phillip Milligan, Larry Thomas and David Thomas; two sisters, Rhonda Marques and Judy Gates. He also leaves four grandchildren, Brayden Byford, Kylan Henson, Emma Welch, and Brody Henson.
Memorial service will be 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. Eddie Hawkins officiating. The family will receive visitors Wednesday from 5 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
