Kenneth Wayne Luff, 63, of Jonesboro, formerly of Caraway, departed this life Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. He was the Senior Class President of Caraway High School in 1965. He served in the Air Force from 1966-70. He was medically retired from American Greetings where he was a supervisor for 36 years. He was a member of the Caraway Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Sharon (Wilson) Luff of the home; a son Kenneth "Ken" Luff II and wife, Hollie of Gosnell; a daughter, Kristen (Luff) Johnson and husband Michael of Jonesboro; a granddaughter, Haley Luff of Bono; a grandson, Layne Luff of Gosnell; and two step-granddaughters, Kaylee and Sara Bryan of Gosnell.

Active pallbearers were Jack Tucker II, Jeremy Tucker, Kevin Tucker, Jacin Thomas, Don Crews, and Doug Reams.

Honorary pallbearers were Gene Tosh, Doug Tosh, Steve Cook, Dr. Dennis Parten, Mississippi County EMS personnel, and Emerson Ambulance and Funeral Home personnel.

Graveside services, with military honors, were 2 p.m. Saturday at Caraway Cemetery with Rick Stevens officiating. Emerson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Visitation was 5-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
