Annette J. Emison, 93, of Caraway passed from this life on Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011, at NEA Baptist Hospital. She was born July 22, 1917, in Stillwater, Okla., to Mike and Johannah Koeller Juenger. Mrs. Emison worked at American Greeting and retired from Basler Electric. She was of the Methodist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Ray Emison; her parents; a son, Eddie Emison; three brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Sharon Emison of Jonesboro, and Ben and Jan Emison of Weatherford, Texas; a daughter-in-law, Norma Emison of Jonesboro; six grandchildren, Mike Emison, Shannon Brooks, Karen Wallace, Kelly Benson, Carolanne Feiste and Todd Emison; seven great-grandchildren; a great-great grandson; and a sister, Carol Booth of Virginia.
Visitation and services were held Saturday, Jan. 22, at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home Chapel in Jonesboro. Visitation was from 10-11 a.m. with the service beginning at 11 a.m. with Rick Stevens officiating. Burial was at Jonesboro Memorial Park.
Active pallbearers included Todd Emison, Bradley Wallace, Mike Emison, Dallas Benson, Mike Wallace, Kyle Priest and Jason Sitz.
