Survivors include a daughter, Rosa Lee "Micky" Darr of Searcy; eight grandchildren, Sandy Ann Copeland, Pat Darr Davis, Donna Copeland Sunshine, Brenda Darr Davenport, Billy Joe Copeland, Bradley Copeland, Mary Lee Copeland Cox and Brandi Flagg Williams; nine great-grandchildren, Mallory Davis, Micah Copeland, Jimi Copeland, Adam Tompkins, Emili Copeland, Krista Cox, James Williams II, Allison Williams and Nicholas Williams.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Tom Barnes; two daughters, Jane Ann Copeland and Nancy Jo Flagg; three sisters, Dorotha Barnes, Virginia Mae Barnes and Ruth Cranford Healy; three brothers, William Todd Jr., J.V. Todd and Donald Todd.
A celebration of her life was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 6, at the Monette First Baptist Church with Rev. Rusty Bird officiating. Burial was in Monette Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Monette.
Visitation was June 5 from 6-8 p.m. at the Monette First Baptist Church.
Honored to serve as pallbearers were James Williams, Doug Pickard, Kenneth Wilson, Ricky Smithee, Alan Henson and Harvey Smithee and as honorary pallbearers, Bill Copeland, Les Williams, Jerry Barnes and Wayne Darr.
The family requests lasting memorial be given to the Relay for Life.
