Kenneth Raymond Keating, 59, of Farmington Mo., formerly of Senath, Mo., died on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2008 at Mineral Area Hospital in Farmington, Mo. after an extensive illness. Born June 13, 1949, in Kennett, Mo., to the late Ray E. Keating and Bernice Ross Keating, Mr. Keating was a graduate of Senath-Hornersville High School, member of the Senath First Baptist Church, attended Arkansas State University, was an Army veteran and served during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include two aunts, Naomi Ross of Senath, Mo., and Dot Keating of Hornersville, Mo.

Mr. Keating was preceded in death by his parents, five uncles, six aunts and three cousins.

Graveside service was held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 2, at Dunklin County Memorial Gardens in Kennett, with Rev. Jack Rollins officiating. Faith Funeral Service of Manila was in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Senath First Baptist Church.
