Graham Essex Coburn, 82, of Paragould, died Monday, Nov. 10, 2008, at Monette Manor. Born May 19, 1926, in Red Onion, he was an Army veteran of World War II and a retired farmer.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, David and Aurora Coburn of Paragould; two daughters and a son-in-law, Rebecca and Van C. Redman of Heber Springs, and Jeanette Hoskins of Paragould; two sisters, Marion Tracer of Rector and Joyce Pitts of Monette; the mother of his children, Juanice Coburn of Monette; two grandchildren, Rena DeBerry and husband, Trey, of Salem, Vir., Tara Eastman and husband, Jesse, of Concord, N.C.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ezra and Grace Coburn; a brother, Winford Coburn; and three sisters, Playfair Marrett, Marcella Coburn and Patsy Jane Coburn.
The funeral was held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 14, at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel with Wilburn Griggs officiating. Burial was in Wood's Chapel Cemetery.
