Tilton Woodruff Boswell, 94 of manila, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2007, at his home. Born in Hornersville, Mo., he was the son of the late John Thomas and Basilee Boswel and the widower of Beatrice Miller Boswell who preceded him in death in 1997. He has been a Manila resident since 1985 and had been a former longtime Greene county resident. He was a retired farmer and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Eugene Boswell; a daughter, Patricia Boswell; a brother and a sister.
Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Standage of Manila; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Howard Funeral Chapel with Rev. Graig Stull officiating. Burial was in the Manila Cemetery.
