J.C. Wright, 62, of Osceola, died Wednesday, July 26, 2006, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was born Nov. 16, 1943, in Halltown. He was a carpenter and member of the Pentecostal faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Otiss Whitecotton and Odell Wright.
He is survived by his daughters, Wanda Warren, Donna Wright and Bobbie Wright, all of Osceola; two sons, Buddy Wright of Osceola and Billy Wright of Luxora; three sisters, Mary Bell of Keiser, Patsy Whitecotton of Long Beach, Calif., and Bonnie Farrell of Leachville; five brothers, Nathan Fraizer of Manila, James Fraizer of Leachville, Marvin Whitecotton of Hot Springs, Danny Whitecotton and Terry Whitecotton, both of Illinois; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Burial was at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette with Brother Jim Roller officiating. Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola was in charge of arrangements.
