Adell Scott Patterson, 94, of Leachville died Sunday, Jan. 29, 2006, at Monette Manor Nursing Home. She was the widow of Leroy "John" Scott and Homer Franklin Patterson. Born at Sherman, Miss., she was the daughter of the late William and Lonia Malone Brown and had been a Leachville resident for the past 63 years. She was a homemaker and member of the Leachville First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Patterson was also preceded in death by her son, Tom Scott, in 2001.

Survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, William "Buck" and Mary Scott of Belmont, Mich.; four daughters, Evelyn Pierce and Geneva Coolsen, both of Leachville, Annette Wooldridge and husband, Ed, of Batesville; Peggy Baxley and husband, Danny, of Enid, Miss.; daughter-in-law, Betty Scott of Leachville; 22 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and 22 great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Howard Funeral Chapel in Leachville with Dr. Jimmy Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Leachville Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. this evening (Tuesday) at the funeral home.
