William Earnest Richey, 82, of Monette, died Sunday, December 18, 2005 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born in Booneville, Miss., he lived his lifetime in Monette. He was a machinist with Boeing Aircraft Plant and was of the Church of Christ belief.

Survivors include two brothers, Jessie B. Richey of Biggers and Colson LeRoy Richey of Lynchburg, Vir.; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Alice Allen Richey; and a brother, James R. Richey.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday at Gregg Funeral Home Chapel in Monette with Larry Woodward officiating. Burial was private.
