Lee Roy Martin Cook, 62, of Osceola died Monday, Oct. 18, 2004, at his residence.

Born at Gunnison, Miss., he was a truck driver and an Army veteran. He was a member of First United Pentecostal Church in Manila.

Survivors include his wife, Tresia Cook of Osceola; two sons, James Cook of Osceola and Michael Cook of Caraway; five daughters, Martha "Kricket" Fisher of Blytheville, Bobbie Jean Davis of Manila, Shirley Ann Cisco of Prescott, Tresia Searton of Osceola and Yvette Parris of Yakima, Wash.; three brothers, James Cook of Victoria, Jimmy Cook of Osceola and David Cook of Marksville, La.; five sisters, Helen Russ of Osceola, Cheryl Shepperson of Victoria, Jo Wartson of Festus, Mo., Gail Rippey of Springfield, Mo., and Susie Cox of Summerville, S.C.; 28 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Martin Cook and Virgie Virginia Chapman.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Robert White officiating. Burial was in Dyess Cemetery.
