Shannon Wayne Hurley, 31, of Manila, died Sunday, June 9, 2002, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould. Born Sept. 9, 1970, in Mesa, Ariz., he had been a carpenter.
He is survived by his ex-wife, Melissa Hurley-Kemper of Blytheville; his parents, Herman Buddy Hurley and Violet Hurley, both of Manila; a son, Blake Smith-Hurley of Blytheville; two daughters, Tiffany Dawn Daniels and Shanna Marie Hurley, both of Manila; a sister, Sherri Marie Starnes, and her husband Billy, of Luxora; and two brothers, Buddy Wayne Hurley, and his wife Rhonda, and Terry Lee Hurley, and his wife Kristi, all of Manila.
Services were at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Blytheville, with Bro. Waymon Holt officiating. Burial was at the Manila Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Jack Green, Larry Dodd, Keith Holt, Robbie Lawrence, Jammie Davidson and Glenn McMann. Alternate pallbearers were David Hall and Daryl Wyatt.
