MissCo cities receive $6.6M

Mississippi County communities will receive more than $6.6 million in federal reimbursement dollars from the American Rescue Plan. Board approves ALE roof repair

During Monday night’s special meeting, the Blytheville School Board approved an emergency roof repair for the Alternative Learning Environment (ALE) building and agreed to seek a proposal for the north and south roofs of Blytheville High School. While a major roof project is necessary in the near future, Gordon Taylor of Architectural Roofing and Construction told the board his firm could patch the ALE roof to allow students to return to school safely and give the board more time to decide what type of roof it prefers.. ...
