Chiefs: SkyCop could benefit BPD, BFD

Blytheville Police Chief Ross Thompson pledged his support for SkyCop Monday night, as the city considers whether to purchase the technology that provides an eye in the sky for law enforcement. “Cameras will never replace police officers,” Thompson told the crowd Monday night at the Blytheville High School auditorium during a public meeting on SkyCop. “But they can add to that and they are very cost-effective.
