Robert Doyle Roberson

Robert Doyle Roberson, 69, of Jonesboro, passed away Friday, Sept. 7, 2012.He was born Sept. 29, 1943, to the late Jim and Rener Roberson.

He was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Carol, five sisters and three brothers.

Survivors include his sons, Bruce Roberson and wife Sherry and David Roberson and wife Kath; a daughter, Melodie Holt and husband Mike, all of Caraway; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a sister, Myrna Fields; and his mother-in-law, Novella Walker.

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10, at Gregg Funeral Home in Caraway with Rev. Roy Kellems officiating. Interment was in the Caraway Cemetery.

The family received friends from noon to 2 p.m. the day of the service at the funeral home.
