Thomas Edward Lynn, 83, of Paragould, passed from this life, Friday May 4, 2012, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. Born in Caraway, he was the son of the late Thomas Earl and Cora Lee Roe Lynn, was a 1945 graduate of Manila High School, and had served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a former longtime resident of Memphis, Tenn., and had owned and operated Lynn's Motor Company for over 45 years. He had lived in Paragould since his retirement eight years ago.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Darrell Lynn, in 2008.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Carlean Wright Lynn of the home; a son, Bruce Lynn, and his wife, Taryn, of Greenville, Texas; three daughters, Connie Malcolm Whitman of Paragould, Teresa Kelley of Dickson, Tenn., Carla Craig, and her husband, Carl, of Cookeville, Tenn.; a sister, Billie Jane Adams of Paragould; 13 grandchildren, Zachary Malcolm, Josh Malcolm, Jordan Whitman, Kyle Kelley and wife Melissa, Bree Lillie Fortner and husband Jeremy, Lyndsey Lynn, Connor Lynn, Caylie Craig, Kelsey Craig, Caleb Craig, Karilynn Craig, Caitlyn Craig, and Claire Craig. He also leaves his great-grandchildren; Kyla Kelley, Brody Kelley and Luke Lillie.

Graveside funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 13, at the Manila Cemetery under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Manila.
