Bobby Phillips

Bobby Phillips, 47, of Manila, Ark., died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark. Born in Stuttgart, Ark., he was the son of Bobby and Wanda Story Phillips. Mr. Phillips was a long-time area resident and was a former oil rig operator.

He is survived by one son, Justin Phillips of Jonesboro, Ark.; his mother and stepfather, Wanda Lackey and Anthony Lackey of Manila, Ark.; three sisters, Deborah Phillips of Newport, Ark., Rhonda Phillips of Senatobia, Miss., and Shawnda Phillips of Manila, Ark.

Mr. Phillips was preceded in death by his father Bobby Phillips, Sr.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012, at Faith Funeral Service in Manila, with Rev. David Fair officiating. Burial followed in the Manila Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors Thursday from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
