Elizabeth Bollinger, 78, of Manila, died Monday, Aug. 22, 2011, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born at Blytheville, she was the daughter of the late Clyde John and Guy Eula Pillow Lutes and was a 1952 graduate of Blytheville High School. She had been a Manila resident for over 50 years and was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church. Mrs. Bollinger was a phlebotomist and respiratory therapist and retired from the former Baptist Memorial Hospital in Blytheville.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Rosemary Lutes, a brother, Ruff Lutes, and an infant son Mark David Bollinger.

Survivors include her husband, Jimmie D. Bollinger of Manila; three daughters, Terri Lisa Browning and her husband, Clifford, Mollie Beth Bollinger and Amanda Leigh Adams, all of Manila; two brothers, John Lutes of Blytheville and Henry Lutes of Sugar Land, Texas. She also leaves four grandchildren, Jim Henry Bollinger, Stephanie Corter, Elizabeth Kennett, and Ashley Johnson, and five great-grandchildren, Mark Evan Corter, Jacob Corter, Byron Kisner, Addison Bollinger, and Luke Ryne Rose.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 26, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. Rudy Burrow officiating. Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Thursday evening from 6-9 at the funeral home. Guest register @www.HowardFuneralService.com.
