Bobby Wayne Copeland

Mr. Bobby Wayne Copeland, 53, of Osceola, died Thursday, March 31, 2011. Mr. Copeland was born on Sept. 16, 1957, in Osceola, to Bobby Jean and Delois Langston Copeland. Mr. Copeland was a member of the Carroll Corner Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, a retired custodian from the Osceola school system, he enjoyed watching cartoons and westerns, and taking care of his family.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Bertha Baugus Copeland of the home; one daughter, Brandy Copeland of the home; three brothers, Tommy Copeland and wife Vicky of Osceola, Keith Copeland and wife Gina of Paragould, and Kenny Copeland and wife Leeann Copeland of Paragould; two daughters, Debbie Douglass and husband Stephen of Osceola and Kathy Copeland of Caraway, and a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Bobby Copeland, Jr.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 2, at the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, Carroll's Corner, with the Rev. Mark Wilbanks officiating.

Interment followed at the Caraway Cemetery. The family will received visitors at the church from 5-8 p.m. Friday, April 1.

Pallbearers were Larry Wilbanks, Nute Sheppard, William Lee, Justin Cole, Allan Laister and Jeremy Hancock.

Faith Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements.
