Stonewall "Stoney" Jackson

Stonewall "Stoney" Jackson, age 94 of Leachville, died Friday, Jan. 28, 2011, at NEA Baptist Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born at Silverdale, Mo., he was the son of the late William Henry and Myrtle Eaton Jackson and had been a lifelong Leachville area resident. He was a retired appliance repairman and was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Skaggs Jackson; three sons, Eugene Jackson, Danny Ray Jackson, and Joe Wayne Jackson, a grandson, Dennis Jackson, two brothers and a sister.

Survivors include, a granddaughter, Teresa hinni of St. Louis, Mo.; a great-granddaughter, Sarah Hinni of St. Louis, Mo.; four Sister, Irene Emery of Hartford, Mich., Juanita Miller of Coloma, Mich., Mary Jackson of Leachville and Rose Sexton of Leachville. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Rev. Lee Davis officiating. Burial followed in Leachville Cemetery.
