Lila Fay Cremeans

Lila Fay Cremeans, age 67 of Paragould, died Monday Jan. 31, 2011, at the Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould. Mrs. Cremeans was born June 9, 1943, to the late George and Gladys Hogan Thorne and had been a long-time Paragould area resident.

She enjoyed crocheting, listening to music, playing games on the computer and reading the bible. Mrs. Cremeans was of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors include her husband, Dave Collins of the home; one sister, Freida Brown of Paragould; three nieces, Pamela Bryant and Shelly Hancock both of Paragould and Renae Rogers of Bono; one nephew, Billy Ray Adams of California. Mrs. Cremeans also leaves several other nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cremeans was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Joe Thorne; one sister, Joy Humphrey and one nephew, Victor Wayne Adams.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011, at the Unity Baptist Church in Paragould with Rev. Tracy Archibald officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Log Cemetery with Faith Funeral Service of Manila in charge of arrangements. The family will receive visitors Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the church.

Pallbearers will be Keith Bryant, Billy Adams, Bobby Vallance, Charlie Ward and Michael Barnes.
