Gladys Marie Ward, 93, of Sebring, Fla., formerly of Manila, died Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2010, at the Palms Nursing and Rehab Center in Sebring. She was born Nov. 12, 1916, in Hollywood, Mo. She was the daughter of the late David and Pearl Fouts Vandivor and had been a longtime Manila area resident before making her home in Sebring, Fla., in 1995. She was a retired Practical Nurse, a homemaker and was of the Jehovah Witness denomination.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, David E. Vandivor and Jim Vandivor and a sister, Ruby D. Davis.

She is survived by two sons, Billy Bramlett and his wife Winnie of Sebring, Fla., and Jimmy Hester and his wife Pam of Manila; two brothers, Daniel Vandivor and his wife Marge of Burnside, Ky., and Leon Vandivor and his wife Joyce of Pangburn, Ark.; two sisters, Glendine Noblin of Bismarck, Mo., and Frankie Jo Arant of Paragould; three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 19, in the Manila Cemetery under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Manila. There will be no visitation.
