Mabel Opal Pitts, 93, of Marble Hill, Mo., formerly of Leachville, died Friday, Jan. 29, 2010, at the Woodland Hills Nursing Center in Marble Hill. Born near Bethesda, Ark., she was the daughter of the late George and Myrtle Reddell Keller and had been a longtime Leachville area resident before making her home in Marble Hill, Mo., 23 years ago. She was a longtime member of the First Pentecost Church in Marble Hill.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Melvin Keller, Clarence Keller and Elmer Keller and a sister, Catherine Mason.

Survivors include her son, Bill Young of Marble Hill, Mo.; three sisters, Rose Smith of Millersville, Mo., Emogene Eldried and Louise Kenchens, both of Leachville; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the First United Pentecostal church in Leachville with Rev. Ivan Dowd officiating. Burial will follow in the Leachville Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Wednesday from 11 a.m. until service time at the church in Leachville.
