Aubrey Marvin Walker, 89, of Gosnell, formerly of Manila, died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009, at the Walnut Ridge Nursing Center in Walnut Ridge. Born at Toccopola, Miss., he was the son of the late Charlie and Carnie Mae Franklin Walker. He was a retired mechanic, parts/service department manager for several different automobile dealerships.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Faye Walker, six brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Lillian Vinson Walker of Meridian, Calif.; a son, Jimmy Walker of Yuba City, Calif.; two sisters,

Thelma Fowler of Jonesboro and Juanita Pinkston of Russellville; two granddaughters, Mary Beth Nienhaus of Ashland, Ore., and Cynthia Walker of Meridian, Calif.; 11 great-grandchildren, Corina Walker, Lauren Walker, Holly Nienhaus, Maria Walker, Mary Walker, Alexa Nienhaus, Emily Walker, Juliet Nienhaus, Amelia Walker, Robertson Walker and Eleanor Walker.

Funeral services were 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, at the Howard Funeral Chapel in Manila with Reverend Doyne Robertson officiating. Burial was in the Crittenden Memorial Park in West Memphis.

The family received visitors from 11 a.m. Saturday until time of service.
