Danny Ray Williams, 55, of Osceola died on Thursday July 30, 2009, in his home. Mr. Williams was born Dec. 31, 1953, to the late Charlie Williams and Essie May "Brown" Williams. He was of the Christian faith, a farmer and truck driver and he was always anxious to get back home to spend memorable time with his family that he loved so much.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, David Williams and Jimmy Williams; three sisters, Wanda Ivie, Jo Ann Spray and Shirley Spray.

Survivors include three sons, Danny Williams and wife Cassie of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Bryan Williams and wife Suzanne of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Chris Williams and his wife Chasity of Lake City; two brothers, Sonny Williams of Flint, Mich., and Frankie Williams of Frostproof, Fla.; three sisters, Betty Jean Williams of Murphysboro, Lois Williams of Murphysboro and Teresa Johnson of Osceola; two grandsons and nine granddaughters; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A private memorial service was held at the home of Johnny and Teresa Johnson, Osceola, at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2. Faith Funeral Service, Manila, was in charge of arrangements.
