Billie Fran Brannon

Billie Fran Brannon, 57, died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was born Oct. 25, 1951 in Manila to the late Billy and Lockie Cornish. She was a homemaker, an artist and musician.

Survivors include her husband, Bob Brannon of the home; seven children, Scarlett Chambers of Dallas, Texas, Melanie McGee and husband Craig of Arlington, Texas, Holly Evans of Pocahontas, Valerie Chambers of Jonesboro, Angela Parnell and husband J. R. of Foley, Alabama, Matthew Chambers and wife Sasha of Jonesboro and Jennifer Richey and husband Preston of Lynn; two sisters, Melba Cornish of Fort Worth and Barbara McDonald of Lynn; a brother, Richard Cornish of Bartlesville, Okla.; and 29 grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter.

A graveside service was held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, at the Monette Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Deshawn Panky officiating. Burial was under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Jonesboro.

Pallbearers were her children, grandchildren and sons-in-law.
