Neva Lynn Coggins

Neva Lynn Coggins, 76, of Caraway, died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2008, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born in Heber Springs, she moved to Caraway in 1952 where she lived most of her adult life. She was a homemaker and a member of Mangrum Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by a son, Mitchell Coggins, and two brothers, Aubrey Donn and John Dove.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Boyce Coggins of the home; a daughter, Robin Harper of Caraway; five sons, Danny Coggins of Huntsville, Greg Coggins of Tallahassee, Fla., Tim Coggins of Paragould, Brock Coggins and John Coggins, both of Caraway; a sister, Florence Bittle of California; a brother, Edward Dove of Washington; 13 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held at 10 a.m. Friday at Caraway Cemetery with Millard Scott officiating. Sons served as pallbearers.

Arrangements were under the direction of Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
