Bonnie Dean Hodges Wagner, 70, of Blytheville died Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008, at St. Bernards Hospital in Jonesboro. Born to Aven and Ellen Poe Hodges in Manila, she was a past school teacher and worked side by side with her husband for the remainder of her life. She loved playing bridge with her special group of friends. As an avid sports fan, she loved watching the Atlanta Braves as well as watching her five grandsons play sports.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. Fred O. Wagner of the home; children, Dawn and Chris Barre, and Bryan and Cindy Wagner; grandsons, Sam Alan Barre, Ben Barre, Will Barre, Mac Wagner, Dawson Wagner, all of Jonesboro; brother and sister-in-law, Darryl and Alice Hodges of Leachville; sisters and brother-in-law, Norma and Clifford Veach of Manila, and Esther Barker of Jonesboro.

The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Aug. 12 in the First Baptist Church Chapel with Rev. David Ross officiating. Burial was in Manila Cemetery under the direction of Cobb Funeral Home.
