Eddy Gene Galloway, 58, of Manila, died Friday, June 20, 2008, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born at Manila, he was the son of the late Edward and Velma Mae Galloway and a lifelong Manila resident. He was a retired assembly line worker and attended Manila First United Pentecostal Church.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Ralston Galloway of the home; two sons, Rev. Gary Galloway of Manila and Sgt. Jeff Galloway, U.S. Army of Ft. Richardson, Alaska; three step-daughters, Michelle Martin and Annette Smith, both of Manila, and Sherry Huddleston of Leachville; four brothers, Carroll Ray Galloway of Leachville, Gerald Galloway of Mississippi, Kenneth Hatley and Jerry Galloway, both of Comanche, Texas; 12 grandchildren, Samantha Galloway, Joshua Galloway, Michael Galloway, Hannah Galloway, Austin Wagner, Brooke Wagner, Bobbie Martin, Cody Martin, David Huddleston, Timothy Decker, Jr., Shane Lee and Robert McCallie; and a great-granddaughter, Francy Ann Martin.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. June 24 at First United Pentecostal Church in Manila with Rev. Robert White and Rev. Gary Galloway officiating. Burial was in Manila Cemetery under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Manila.
