Maxine Pittman, 80, of Caraway, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008.

Survivors include son Don Barnett and wife, Delores, of Thida; two daughters, Sharon Ross of Bartlett, Tenn., and Iris Brooks of Portland; eight grandchildren, Mary McDougal of Thida, Carol Davis and husband, Tony, of Amagon, James Barnett of Cash, Larry Ross of Memphis, Stephanie Shields and husband, Lynn, of Collierville, Tenn., Dana Brooks of Gainesville, Fla., Kim Brooks and Missy Selby and husband, Jarad, all of Portland; and 15 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held at 1 p.m. Friday in Jackson's Newport Funeral Home Chapel.
