Etheredge House, 89, of Jonesboro, formerly of Alicia, died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2007, at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his parents, M.G. "Bud" and Dollie Wade House; brothers, Ora E., Roy, Luther, Fred, and Mart Ray; and sister, Juanita.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby Butler House, of the home; daughters, Lynda Eaves of Hoxie, Patty Cornwell of Lake City and Tammy Curtis of Jonesboro; sons, Robbie and Stanley House, both of Jonesboro; brother, Wayne House of Little Rock; and 12 grandchildren.

The funeral was held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge with Dale Hughart officiating. Burial was in Haynes Cemetery near Swifton.

Active pallbearers were Jeremy House, Buddy Eaves, Charlie Curtis, Jimmy Cornwell, Jim House and Ed House.

Honorary pallbearers were Glen House, Jack House and J.W. House.
