Glendola "Dola" Minyard, 82, of Manila, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born April 13, 1925, in Manila, she was the daughter of John Kater and Rosa Dida Samples Edmundson. She was a lifelong resident of Manila, a homemaker, and a member of Soul Harbor Trinity Pentecostal Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, J.D. Minyard; four sisters, Juanita Edmundson, Louise Vandiver, Lillian Crawford, Belle Eddings; and a son, Devon Eddings.

She is survived by three daughters, Glenda Troxel and her husband, Tim, of Alpine; Donnie Titsworth and her husband, Charles, of Russellville; and Shirley Mann of Mary Esther, Fla.; three sons, Jackie Eddings and his wife, Julie, and Paul Scoggins, and his wife, Sherry, all of Manila; and Ricky Scoggins and his wife, Vonda, of Leachville; 20 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandson.

The funeral was held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, at the Soul Harbor Trinity Pentecostal Church in Manila with Rev. David Fair officiating. Burial was in the Manila Cemetery.

Grandsons served as pallbearers.
