Lake City

Dwight Eugene Davis, 60, of Lake City died Monday, Oct. 15, 2007, at his home. He had lived in Lake City all of his life. He was self-employed in the tree business and was an Army veteran.

Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Judy Greeno Davis, of the home; five sons, Chris Turner of Branson, Mo., Mark, Keith, Brett and Colton Davis, all of Lake City; two daughters, Carla Hernandez of West Memphis and Kasey Davis of Lake City; two brothers, Kenneth Davis of Russellville and Kenny Davis of Springdale; three sisters, Brenda Cahoon of Lake City, Rebecca Bishop of Camden and Lisa Barnes of Jonesboro; and nine grandchildren, Morgan, Danielle, Dylan, Jagger, Timothy and Marcus Davis, Zachary and Paige Turner and Tater Tot.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Shelby Junior and Elsie Coursey Davis; and two sisters, Vickie Waters and Cindy Davis.

A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Pine Log Cemetery with Jason Goad officiating and Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Mark, Keith, Brett, Colton and Kenneth Davis and Delton Cahoon.
