Addie Mae Elizabeth Malone, 99 of Leachville, the widow of Oather E. Malone, died Monday, July 23, 2007, at the Monette Manor Nursing Center. Born in Batesville, she had been a longtime Leachville area resident, a homemaker and a member of the First Assembly of god in Leachville.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Odie Miller, Blanch Dean and Esta Robertson, and a granddaughter, Terri Jean Hatcher.

Survivors include three sons, R.B. Malone of Hazelwood, Mo., Austin Malone of Rivercliff, Calf., and Rev. Ronnie Malone of Heber Springs; two daughters, Flora Jean Covey and Betty Hatcher, both of Leachville; two brothers, Alfred Langston of Paragould and Burl Langston of Cardwell; a sister, Louise Brickey of Hot Springs; 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 22 great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Howard Funeral Chapel in Leachville with rev. tom Newman and B.R. Miller officiating. Burial was in the Cardwell Cemetery.
