Paragould

Bobby Joe Imler, 51 of Paragould, formerly of Leachville, died Monday, July 2, 2007, at Arkansas Methodist Hospital in Paragould. Born at Monette, he was the son of the late Ruby Eubanks Imler and had lived most of his life in Leachville. He attended Leachville High School, was a self-employed home builder, and was a member of the Greater Vision Church and of the Pentecostal faith. He had been a Paragould resident for the past 20 years.

He is survived by his father, W.C. "Dub" Imler of Trumann; a brother, Carl Imler of Paragould; three sisters, Kay England of Batesville, Sue Brandon of Gassville, and Martha Rylant of Paragould; and a lifelong friend, Max Burrow, of Paragould.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Rev. Rick Etheridge and Rev. Gaylon England officiating.

Pallbearers were Curtis Hitt, Ron Hitt, Brandon Imler, Drew Rylant, Tony Rhymes and Holbert Bridgeman. Max Burrow served as honorary pallbearer.
