Marble Hill, Mo.

Edith Charlene Yeargain, 72, of Marble Hill, Mo., died Monday, May 28, 2007, at her residence after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born Aug. 1, 1934, at Arbyrd, the daughter of Roy and Anna Mae Noble Wilmoth and oldest of seven children. She and Bill E. Yeargain were married on Nov. 5, 1953. Mrs. Yeargain was a homemaker and member of Glen Allen First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Bill; mother, Anna Mae Wilmoth of Leachville; sons and their wives, Bill and Sameia Yeargain, Jr. of Arnold, Mo., and Robert and Donna Yeargain of Burfordville, Mo.; daughters and their husbands, Delilah and David Bruckerhoff of Cape Girardeau, Mo., Cindy and Larry Smith of Marble Hill and Sandy and Jim Minton of Chafee, Mo.; brothers, Kenneth Wilmoth of Arbyrd and Victor Wilmoth of Leachville; sisters, Janice Hammock of Summerville, S.C., Patsy Davis of Brookland, Teresa Wrather of Cardwell, and Amanda Blair of Urbana, Ill.; and grandchildren, Stacy Huff of Kansas city, Kan., Brandon Gemeinhardt of Fruitland, Mo., Brent Hicks and Sarah Boyer, both of Marble Hill, Rebecca Minton of Chaffee, Galen Yeargain of Cape Girardeau and Shayla and Kyle Yeargain of Arnold, Mo.; and great-grandchildren, Taylor and Harper Huff of Kansas City and Jesse and Joshua Gemeinhardt and Alexius Welker, all of Fruitland.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roy, and son, Gearney Lynn.

Private services will be held at a later date.

The family requests anyone wishing to leave a lasting memorial consider the American Cancer Society.

Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill was in charge of arrangements.
