Joan Ellen Briley Thomas

Joan Ellen Briley Thomas died Wednesday, March 21, 2007, at the age of 63 after a brief illness. She was a lifelong resident of Manila until moving to Waycross, Ga.

She was preceded in death by her parents, T.E. Briley and Pauline Wortham Briley, and a sister, Barbara Ann Briley Hatley.

She is survived by a son, Daniel Lingo, and wife, Mary; two brothers, Walter Briley of Manila and Buddy Briley of St. Louis; a sister, Kay Briley of Nashville, Tenn.; and many friends and relatives.

The body was cremated.
