Clodine Saylor - Senath

Clodine Hoskins Saylor, 89, of Senath Nursing Center died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2006, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould. She was born Aug. 20, 1916, in Monette, the daughter of the late Owen W. Sr. and Sudie Hoskins. She was a beautician for more than 50 years and at one time was the owner of Clodine's Beauty Shop on West Highland Street which was the largest beauty shop in Paragould. She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Paragould for more than 50 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Reynolds Saylor; a brother, Charlie Benjamin Hoskins; and a sister, Mary Lou Marshall.

Survivors include a son, Col. Ira M. Click, U.S. Army (ret.) and his wife, Harriet of Frederick, Md.; three grandchildren, Abbe M. Harman and husband, John R. Jr. of Frederick, 1st Sgt. Ira M. Click Jr., Maryland State Police, and his wife, Tammy of Adamstown, Md., and Gina M. Click of Hagerstown, Md.; three great-grandchildren, Shannon C. Harman, Garrett A. Harman and Austin M.B. Click; a brother, Owen W. Hoskins Jr., and wife, Kathryn, of Paragould; sister-in-law, Barbara Johnson of Franklin, Tenn.; stepdaughter, Margaret "Mimi" R. Broadhead of San Antonio; five nephews, Richard Hoskins and his wife, Rebecca, and daughter, Katy, of Paragould, Steve Hoskins of Bismarck, Frank Hoskins of Milton, Fla., Wayne Marshall of Manila and Charles "Bud Marshall of Jonesboro; and two nieces, Laura Jean McClish and Pat Jackson, both of Jonesboro.

A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Thursday at All Saints Episcopal Church in Paragould under the direction of Heath Funeral Home.
