Juanita Eldridge - Caraway

Juanita Eldridge, 86, of Caraway, died Thursday, Aug. 18, 2005, at Lakeside Nursing Center in Lake City. She was a homemaker, member of Caraway Church of Christ, and had lived in the Caraway area a lifetime.

She is survived by three sons, Roy DuWayne Eldridge of Lake City, Tony Raymond Eldridge of Bay, and Jacky Lynn Eldridge of Caraway; a daughter, Rosemary Blakely of Lake City; two brothers, B.W. Goodman, Jr. of Jonesboro and Johnny Goodman of Trumann; a sister, Mildred Gipson of Texas; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Ruben and Evalina Goodman; her husband, Raymond Borden Eldridge; two sons, Charles and James Eldridge; and two grandchildren.

The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Caraway Church of Christ with John Shadowens officiating. Burial was in Caraway Cemetery under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Monette.

Active pallbearers were Jeremy Eldridge, Neil Eldridge, Graham Eldridge, Kenny Martin, Keith Eldridge, Jeff Eldridge, Brian Eldridge, and Daniel Lynn.
