Earnest Lee Wilson, 75, of Blytheville died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2005, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville. Born at Leachville, he was a longtime area resident and a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Ada Eveylene Bracken Wilson, of the home; a son, Dennis Wilson, of the home; three stepsons, Michael Merritt and Jimmy Ray Merritt, both of Blytheville, and Shawn Merritt of Drummond, Tenn.; two brothers, Burl Wilson of Leachville and Johnny Wilson of Conway; six sisters, Martha Lee Helems of Mounds, Glenda Ford, Jo Ann Rise and Barbara Moar, all of Batesville, Zelma Finch of Kansas and Lois Taylor of Hardy; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Lou Jessie Taylor Wilson.

A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Mount Zion Cemetery at Walcott with Rev. Mike Welch officiating. Visitation was held 11 a.m. until noon Saturday at Cobb Funeral Home in Blytheville.
