Teddy Gene Qualls

A memorial service for Teddy Gene Qualls, 54, of Greers Ferry, was held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Emerson Funeral Home's Memorial Chapel of Jonesboro.

Qualls died Wednesday, July 27, 2005, at NEA Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born at Black Oak, he lived in Jonesboro, Memphis and Texas before moving to Greers Ferry 13 years ago. He was an insurance agent and graduate of Arkansas State University.

Surviving are two daughters, Christy Valentine of Trumann and Katy Qualls of Adamsville, Tenn.; two sons, Brice Qualls of Greers Ferry and Clay Qualls of Memphis; a sister, Fonda Lybarger of Winfield, Kan.; four brothers, Elbert Qualls and Bryce "Demp" Qualls of St. Louis, Jerry "Chub" Qualls of Black Oak and Terry Qualls of Morris Chapel, Tenn.; and two grandchildren, Madeleine Valentine and Jake Valentine of Trumann.
